RCS Rib Caps are a proven product that has been used in metal building applications since 1975. This elastomeric polymer was developed specifically to withstand UV assault, expansion fatigue, and cyclic thermal conditions. RCS Rib Caps gives us the opportunity to offer our customers a range of benefits not found with other rib caps.
The rib caps are of single-piece, seamless construction and provide an exact fit to the panel profile (including locking rib). Fastener holes are factory-punched for easy installation. Grooves are provided for mastic and ensure a complete seal against water. Molded-in identification of lap direction avoids installation mistakes and the rib cap’s flexibility allows easy installation even with distorted panels. The endcaps rounded shape provides maximum water deflection.
RCS Rib Caps give you the ability to penetrate or flash a panel where you want, when you want. No metal products can offer you that flexibility. The RCS Rib Cap is molded exactly to the rib profile, minimizing your installation time, and assuring water tightness.
